안녕하세요 여러분! Today, I have a short Korean story for you about traffic. Stories like this are a great way to learn and memorize vocab.
I found this story on an app called "LingQ" that has a ton of other short stories just like this.
STORY:
철수는 회사에서 집으로 오고 있다.
그는 매일 회사에서 집까지 운전을 한다.
고속도로에는 많은 차들이 있다.
고속도로는 차가 많이 밀려서 움직일 수가 없다.
철수는 짜증나고 화가 난다.
그는 뉴스를 들으려고 라디오를 켠다.
그러고 나서, 그는 음악을 듣는다.
그래도 여전히, 철수는 심심하고 피곤하다.
고속도로는 매일 너무 차가 밀린다.
철수는 대신 오토바이를 살지 생각한다.

Many people ask me how I learn/memorize words and I always say the same thing… context, context, context! Instead of studying a list of words you'll forget quickly, you can read a simple short story like this one and not only learn the words, but see them being used.

HOW I LEARN WORDS:
My favorite way to learn new words is through reading and listening to comprehensible materials. I usually use LingQ to do that, because It has interesting material for all levels.
This story is taken from one of the Guided Courses on Lingq called “Mini Stories”, which are designed to repetitively use words and phrases to help you easily learn and memorize them without actually trying much.
You can read, listen, study things sentence by sentence, review/study flashcards within the app, and more.
