I’ve made many a post comparing similar concepts and explaining their differences. I’ve called it my “this vs that” series.
If you find this post useful, you’ll also like:
지금 – Now, right now
"지금" refers to the current moment or present time. It emphasizes the state or action happening at the very moment of speaking.
Examples:
→ What are you doing now?
→ It’s raining right now.
→ I’m not busy right now.
→ I’ll go right now.
→ Now that I think about it, that seems right.
Now, from now on, at this point
"이제" implies a transition from one state or situation to another. It often refers to a shift or change starting at the current moment.
Examples:
→ I'm okay now.
→ I will work hard from now on.
→ I should go to sleep now.
→ Now there’s no time.
→ Now it’s your turn.
Just now, a moment ago
"방금" refers to an action or event that happened very recently, usually within the last few moments.
Examples:
→ A call just came in.
→ I just met a friend.
→ I just ate.
→ I just closed the door.
→ I just heard it on the news.
Soon, just now
"금방" has two meanings depending on context:
When referring to the past, it means "just now."
When referring to the future, it means "soon."
Examples:
→ I’ll be back soon.
→ I’ll finish it soon.
→ I just ate.
→ I’ll be right back.
→ I just realized it.

One of the things I appreciate about https://supertrade.com/blog/martingale-strategy-forex SuperTrade is how honest and transparent they are. There’s no nonsense – the rules are tough but clearly stated, and they don’t play games with pricing or commissions. It’s very straightforward: perform well, get funded, follow the rules, get paid. That’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme – it’s a platform for disciplined traders to grow. Highly recommend to those who take trading seriously.
