안녕하세요 리더님! Today, I’ve made a list of some graduation-related vocabulary words in Korean. I tried to add some examples and dialogues as well.

과목을 이수[통과]하다 - pass course[class]

DIALOGUE EXAMPLES:
가: 오빠, 오랜만이에요. 아직 졸업 안 하셨어요?
나: 응, 작년에 휴학을 했었기 때문에 내년에 졸업해.
A: Hey, it's been a while. You haven't graduated yet?
B: Yes, I took a leave of absence last year, so I'm graduating next year.
가: 학교를 졸업하면 뭘 할 생각이니?
나: 일단은 좀 쉬면서 부모님 가게를 도와 드리려고요.
A: What are you going to do when you graduate from school?
B: For now, I'm going to take a break and help my parents' shop.
가: 너는 커서 무엇을 하고 싶니?
나: 대학교에서 법학을 전공한 뒤 변호사가 되고 싶어요.
A: What do you want to do when you grow up?
B: I want to become a lawyer after majoring in law at university.
가: 너 그렇게 공부 안 하면 좋은 대학에 못 간다.
나: 엄마, 꼭 좋은 대학교를 나와야만 성공하는 것은 아니에요.
A: If you don't study like that, you can't go to a good university.
B: Mom, you don't have to get a good university to succeed.
가: 요즘 대학생들은 신입생 때부터 취업 걱정에 시달린다며?
나: 내 동생은 안 그렇더라. 평소에 봉사 활동도 많이 하고방학이면 여행도 가.
A: I heard that college students these days have been worried about getting a job since they were freshmen?
B: My brother doesn't. He usually does a lot of volunteer work and travels during vacation.
가: 어제 특강은 잘 들었어?.
나: 강사 선생님의 강연이 아주 감명 깊었어.
A: Did you enjoy the special lecture yesterday?
B: The lecturer's lecture was very impressive.
가: 이번 시험에서는 성적이 썩 좋지 않구나.
나: 제가 잘 몰랐던 분야라 강의 내용을 이해하기가 어려웠어요.
A: Your grades are not very good on this exam.
B: It was a field I didn't know well, so it was hard to understand the contents of the lecture.
가: 김 교수님, 이번 학회 때 발표한 논문 아주 흥미롭더군.
나: 감사합니다. 앞으로 계속해서 연구를 진행해 보려고 합니다.
A: Professor Kim, the thesis presented at this conference was very interesting.
B: Thank you. I'm going to continue my research in the future.
가: 지수야, 이번 학기가 마지막 학기니?
나: 네. 이번 학기만 끝나면 드디어 졸업이에요.
A: Jisoo, is this your last semester?
B: Yes. After this semester, I will finally graduate.
가: 서울로 진학한다더니 하숙집은 구했어?
나: 다행히 학교에 기숙사가 있어서 거기에서 지내려고.
A: You said you're going to Seoul, did you get a boarding house?
B: Fortunately, I have a dormitory at school, so I'm going to stay there.
가: 석사 학위를 받으면 무엇을 할 계획이니?
나: 아마도 박사 과정에 진학할 것 같아요
A: What do you plan on doing when you get a master's degree?
B: I think I'll probably go on to a Ph.D. program
가: 엄마, 저 장학금 탔어요.
나: 우리 딸, 자랑스럽다. 성실히 공부하더니.
A: Mom, I got a scholarship.
B: I'm proud of you, my daughter. You studied hard.
가: 대학에 합격했다면서? 축하해!
나: 고마워. 등록금을 내고 나니까 이제 실감이 나네.
A: I heard you got accepted into college. Congratulations!
B: Thank you. After paying the tuition, I can feel it now.
가: 학점 잘 나왔어?
나: 응. 다행히 이번 학기에는 전 과목에서 좋은 점수를 받았어.
A: Did you get good grades?
B: Yes. Fortunately, I got good grades in all subjects this semester.
