SUMMARY
(In English)
Early voting for South Korea's local elections began on May 29. Millions of eligible voters have the opportunity to vote at polling stations across the country during the two-day early voting period. The election will determine local government positions such as mayors, governors, and council members. Political leaders, including President Lee Jae-myung, have already cast their ballots. Many observers view the election as an important indicator of public opinion toward the current government ahead of Election Day on June 3.
