Academic Phrases:
저는 한 학기 휴학 중이다 - I’m taking a semester off
새 학기가 시작되었다 - The new semester started.
그녀는 대학교에서 장학금을 신청했다. - she applied for a scholarship at the university.
질문이 있다 - to have a question
시험을 보다 - to take a test
시험에 떨어지다 - to fail a test
개학을 하다 - to start school
(ex: 학교는 다음 주에 개학한다 - school starts next week.) 시험에 합격하다 - to pass a test
변락치기를 하다 - to cram (for test)
밤새 공부를 하다 - to pull an all-nighter (study all night)
스트레스를 받다 - to be stressed
스트레스를 풀다 - to relieve stress
커닝 페이퍼를 만들다 - make a cheatsheet
커닝을 하다 - to cheat
만점을 받다 - to get a perfect score
성적이 좋다 - get good grades
성적이 나쁘다 - get bad grades
전공이 뭐예요 - what is your major?
기말고사 어떻게 봤어요? - How did you do on your finals?
졸업하고 무엇을 할 겁니까? - What do you plan to do after graduation?
장학금을 신청하다 - to apply for scholarship
강의를 듣다 - to attend a lecture
강의를 빼먹다 - skip class

전공을 바꾸다 - change or switch major
과목을 통과하다 - pass course[class]
과목을 이수하지 못하다 - fail course
